We are happy to receive unsolicited articles from qualified contributors, but
due to the large number of inquiries we receive, we cannot guarantee a quick response.
If you are eager to have your piece published soon, please feel free to submit the article
to other publications for consideration.
Articles published in YaleGlobal range across a wide spectrum of topics and viewpoints.
The thread tying them together is that they all aim to illuminate some aspect of globalization -
meaning the close interdependence and interconnectedness of the world - for an educated but
non-expert global audience. Our criteria for publication include originality, clarity, authority, and
relevancy. All articles should fall within a range of 1,000-1,200 words, with an additional brief
abstract provided by the author. Any submission longer than the stipulated length may not
receive a reply. Additionally, the article has to be written exclusively for YaleGlobal.
Submissions and submission ideas should be accompanied by a brief biography of the author and
may be emailed in any commonly used format to: globalization@yale.edu.
